Green Gas Energy Company

Investment Agreement for the Construction of 9 Agricultural Biomethane Plants in North-Eastern Poland

We are pleased to announce that on 22 December 2025, an agreement was concluded between Polski Zielony Fundusz ARP TFI S.A. and Green Gas Energy sp. z o.o.

Pursuant to the agreement, 9 agricultural biomethane plants with a total installed capacity of 8.91 MW will be developed in north-eastern Poland.

The total financial commitment of Polski Zielony Fundusz ARP TFI S.A. to the implementation of the investment will amount to PLN 59 million.

The planned project will contribute to the efficient use of agricultural feedstocks, the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and the support of local communities and the regional economy.

The project represents an important step towards the development of renewable energy sources and the strengthening of Poland’s energy security.

The implementation of the project is aligned with the long-term strategies of both entities, focused on the development of modern and sustainable energy infrastructure in Poland.

“We are pleased that Green Gas Energy has succeeded in securing such an outstanding partner as ARP TFI S.A. for the implementation of this project. The signed agreement paves the way for the execution of a pioneering project that will provide tangible support for Poland’s energy transition,”
says Daniel Ozon, President and Co-owner of Green Gas Energy.

The team that established GGE Company began its operations in the biogas market in 2009.

With our in-depth, specialized knowledge and experience gained from the implementation of biogas plant construction projects in Western Europe, we decided to introduce biogas plants to Poland. Our knowledge of the market and the support of local partners enabled us to select convenient locations and build state-of-the-art biogas plants in Poland. As a largely agricultural country, Poland has a huge potential for obtaining energy from biomass. Given the above, GGE aims to become a significant producer of green, sustainable energy derived from agricultural waste.

We are currently focusing on the development of our project, which is the expansion of existing plants and the construction of new ones. Our experience shows that in Central Europe, agricultural and livestock waste is the most optimal source of green energy production and its carriers. Biogas plants also support local communities, ensure the economic activation of agricultural regions and guarantee the creation of new, lasting competitive advantages in rural areas.

Biogas plants built by GGE are the most modern, efficient, flexible, and environmentally friendly installations. They allow to produce:

  • Electricity and heat
  • Biogas
  • Biomethane
  • BioLNG
  • CO2 capture
  • Digestate - an excellent ecological fertilizer
